Floral sparkling lemonade with blackberry syrup and a hint of lavender, topped with chilled soda.

# Ingredient List:

→ Blackberry Lavender Syrup

01 - 1 cup fresh blackberries
02 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1/2 cup water
04 - 1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender

→ Lemonade Base

05 - 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–5 lemons)
06 - 2 cups cold water

→ To Serve

07 - 2 cups chilled club soda or sparkling water
08 - Ice cubes as needed
09 - Lemon slices (optional, for garnish)
10 - Fresh blackberries (optional, for garnish)
11 - Lavender sprigs (optional, for garnish)

# How to Prepare:

01 - Combine the blackberries, granulated sugar, water and dried lavender in a small saucepan. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring to dissolve the sugar and break down the fruit. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until the berries are soft and the liquid is fragrant, then remove from heat and allow to steep for 5 minutes. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl or measuring cup, pressing on the solids to extract the syrup; discard solids and cool the syrup completely.
02 - In a pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice with the cold water and stir until evenly mixed.
03 - Add the cooled blackberry lavender syrup to the lemonade base and stir to incorporate, tasting and adjusting sweetness if desired.
04 - Fill four glasses with ice. Divide the blackberry lavender lemonade evenly among the glasses, filling each about two-thirds full. Top each glass with chilled club soda or sparkling water and stir gently to combine.
05 - Garnish with lemon slices, fresh blackberries and lavender sprigs if using. Serve immediately.
